our feminist policies ♥
How we run this thing.
These aren’t marketing values. They’re the operating system. We publish them so you can hold us to them, copy them, fork them, and improve them. If we ever stop living up to one, tell us — and we’ll fix it in public.
01
We design for the tired woman, not the ideal user.
Every tool, resource, and piece of content is built for someone who is already stretched thin. If it takes longer than five minutes to understand, we simplify it. Complexity is not a feature. We don't build for the woman who has it all figured out. We build for the one who doesn't - and is doing it anyway.
02
We price for access, not aspiration.
We refuse to gate practical tools behind premium price points. If something genuinely helps women, we find a way to make it affordable - or free. The Dream Forward Fund exists specifically to extend that access to women who can't pay at all. Your membership price is not a flex. It's a floor, not a ceiling.
03
We never monetise urgency or fear.
No countdown timers. No "you're falling behind" messaging. No manufactured scarcity. We believe women make better decisions when they're not panicked - so we don't engineer panic. No guilt trips. No pressure to stay in spaces that no longer serve you.
04
We name our influences.
Citation is care. We credit the women whose work shaped ours - publicly, consistently, and without ego. Intellectual theft is a feminist issue. We don't erase the shoulders we stand on.
05
We make space for full humans.
Sick days, off days, caregiving days, grieving days. Period days. Off-grid days. Mental health days. All days count. We don't ask you to perform wellness or productivity when life is loud. Rest is not a reward - it's built into how we work.
06
We refuse extractive AI.
When we use AI, it's for leverage - not replacement. We're transparent about where and how we use it. We build with AI, not at the expense of the people AI is often used to replace. And we teach women to use it with the same ethic: as a tool that expands capacity, not one that erases presence.
07
We protect your data.
We don't sell it, mine it, or weaponise it. Ever. Your attention is yours. We don't build systems designed to keep you scrolling or hooked. You can use our tools and put them down. That's the point.
08
We listen to women of color, queer women, disabled women, trans women.
Not as a checkbox. As the foundation. Our products, our community, and our decisions are shaped by the women most often left out of the room. If a tool or policy doesn't work for the most marginalised woman in our community, it doesn't work.
09
We say no.
To brands, partnerships, and rooms that don't align - loudly and without apology. We say no to clients who want our reach without our values. We say no to collaborations that ask us to shrink. We say no to anything that asks the women we serve to earn their place twice.
10
We name the invisible labour.
Mental load, emotional labour, care work, the second shift, the emotional tax of being the "only one" in the room - we talk about these things directly and build tools around them. We refuse to treat structural inequalities as personal productivity problems. You are not the problem. The systems are.
11
We give feedback that builds, not breaks.
If there's a gap or something needs fixing, we explain how - with clear next steps, not shame. No nitpicking. No "nothing is ever good enough" energy. Feedback goes both ways. If something isn't working, we want to hear it - from everyone, including the team.
12
We celebrate out loud.
Good work gets seen. Good work gets credited. We shout wins - big and small - because recognition isn't a luxury. It's how confidence compounds. If you're proud of something, share it. We want to celebrate with you.
13
Zero tolerance for harm.
We do not tolerate harassment - verbal, emotional, sexual, physical, digital, or otherwise. Whether between members, collaborators, or clients: if something feels off, say something. You will be heard, protected, and supported. No retaliation. No silencing. Everyone has the right to feel safe and free from harm here.
14
We stay accountable in public.
The Dream Forward Fund publishes quarterly impact reports. You can see where the money goes, who it reached, and what was built. Transparency isn't a talking point - it's a structure. When we get something wrong, we say so. These policies are living commitments. If you see a gap between what we say here and what we do, tell us. That's how this works.
