“Where are the women?”
This didn’t start as a tech company. It started with a question.
I dropped out of school before I could write my O’Levels. At 19, I thought a degree was the only door. No degree meant no future, and that lie nearly killed me. What kept me breathing was the internet. I found scraps of learning—Forums, PDFs, random videos.
But most rooms didn’t have women who looked like me. That absence stuck with me. Because when you don’t see people like you in the places you dream of being, it’s easy to think you don’t belong there.
The very first thing I built was a small online magazine—a safe zone for young women to talk about real things: career building, mental health, and human rights. I realized then that I never wanted to build alone again. Multi-Hyphenate Women was born out of survival, but it grew into a structure that holds space for everyone who is “too much” for traditional systems.

We noticed that women were building without the infrastructure they needed—juggling childcare, mental loads, and big ambitions without a safety net. MHW exists to bridge the gap between your reality and your dreams.
